A word from the President:
Rakkasah is now behind us — Spring is on the horizon!
We are fortunate to have an abundance of belly dance activities going on in the Bay Area. On behalf of the SF/BA Chapter Board of Officers, I want to invite you to become more familiar with us, our chapter, and the events we will be hosting and co-hosting throughout this year. (Be sure to read on for important details.) We also invite you to participate and consider volunteernig at these events. If you would like to attend a Board meeting, please contact us, but keep in mind that only the Board members present can vote. We look forward to seeing our long-time supporters and introducing those new to the area to our warm and friendly belly dance community.

Become a MECDA member! Here’s why & how ~
Only dues-paying members can nominate and vote for Chapter officers. If you want to have a say in who is on the board, become a member and nominate and vote for your choices. After you’ve been a member for one year, you can run for office yourself. You must set your affiliation as a member of our chapter, “Bay Area (San Francisco)” in order to vote for chapter officers.
